A Defense of the Christian Faith

Anselm of Canterbury once said, “Credo ut intellegam”.

Or in English: “I believe so that I may understand.”

The idea is clear, but not intuitive. Belief in God precedes a correct understanding of reality, not the other way around. Anselm merely echoed an ancient and inspired theologian, King Solomon when he said, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10)

This is our aim too: “to believe in order to understand.”

Something (Semi-) Unique with Theolocast: The “World System”?

The World System is an interlocking set of structures influenced by evil spirits and is ultimately headed by Satan; its chief purposes are deceiving human beings and separating people from God.

The World System is diametrically opposed to its spiritual counterpart, the Kingdom of God. (The purpose of the Kingdom of God is reconciling people with God and expanding God’s reach in the world.) This Satanic, earthly insurrection or World System affects every area of life and learning including…
